Together with our holistic therapist and wellness consultant Kornelia Sofia Konieczna, we invite
you to step away from the demands of daily life and enter a space where rest becomes the priority.

This is not a retreat filled with busy schedules, constant activities, or expectations to improve
yourself.

This is a retreat created for one simple purpose:
To rest. Deeply. Fully. Without guilt.

The Art of Rest is a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect with your natural rhythm.

Many of us live in a constant state of doing — planning, solving, producing, caring for others, and responding to endless demands. Over time, the nervous system becomes overstimulated, sleep becomes lighter, energy becomes depleted, and true rest feels increasingly out of reach.

 

A PERSONALISED EXPERIENCE

Prior to arrival, each guest will be invited to schedule a private online consultation with Kornelia.

This consultation allows us to understand your individual needs, lifestyle, health concerns, energy levels, and intentions for the retreat. Recommendations will also be shared with the Villa Hesnæs team where appropriate, allowing us to create a more personalized and supportive experience for your stay.

 

During your retreat, you are invited to:

  • Sleep as long as your body needs
  • Enjoy slow mornings without rushing
  • Nourish yourself with delicious seasonal meals prepared with care
  • Walk quietly in nature
  • Spend time reading, journaling, or simply being
  • Join optional gentle movement, stretching, Qigong, or relaxation practices

 

There is nothing to achieve. Nothing to fix. Nothing to perform. Doing nothing is not only allowed — it is encouraged.

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Two nights accommodation at Villa Hesnæs
  • Welcoming nourishing treats on arrival Friday (check in 15:00)
  • Breakfast
  • Seasonal lunch and dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients for the whole retreat (check-out after sunday lunch)
  • Afternoon tea with small nourishing treats
  • Evening tea ritual for relaxation and better sleep
  • Personalised pre-retreat health check-in with Kornelia
  • Individual recommendations to support your rest and wellbeing during your stay and to take home with you

Kornelia has many years of experience. She is a passionate naturopathic and Chinese medicine practicing therapist.

Her approach blends ancient wisdom with modern techniques and offers a comprehensive path to holistic well being.

She specializes in Naturopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine (Western) and Holistic Nutrition with a focus on treating the whole person and addressing the root causes of imbalances.
